Call to professionals responsible for materiovigilance: take part in European Commission survey on electronic instructions for use

date: 20/08/2024

The European Commission is considering allowing the use of electronic instructions for use for all devices for professional use. The Commission is therefore launching a survey for healthcare professionals.

The survey aims to collect feedback on the possible extension of the use of electronic instructions for use to all devices for professional use (i.e. devices used by healthcare professionals).

Healthcare professionals, people responsible for materiovigilance and others working within a healthcare institution in the European Union can take part in the survey. The feedback is essential to support the decision-making process of medical device regulatory agencies in the European Union (EU).

Completing this survey takes less than five minutes. The survey is available in all EU languages and will run until 11 October 2024.
