Save the date: Symposium on the new European legislation on veterinary medicines. What will change for you?

Europe has approved new legislation on veterinary medicines and medicated animal feeds. What does this mean and what will change concretely for the industry or veterinarian? Learn everything at the FAMHP symposium on November 19.

The symposium will be divided into two sessions:

Morning

  • Target group: Persons active in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Subject: State of affairs and further elaboration of the new legislation.
  • Extra information about:
    • Medicine surveillance
    • Application procedures and file requirements
    • Variations and the European database
    • Harmonization of the SmPC (Summary of Product Characteristics).
  • Language: English

Afternoon

  • Target group: Veterinarians
  • Subject: What changes for veterinarians? Which decisions are made on a European level and what are the possibilities on the national level.
  • Extra information about:
    • Vision of the FVE for the new legislation
    • Regulation of medicated animal feeds
    • Impact of the regulation for veterinary medicines for the practicing veterinarian
    • Antibiotic resistance
  • Language: NL and FR (simultaneous translation provided)
     

Practical information

The symposium will take place in the Storck auditorium, Eurostation II, Ernest Blerostraat 1, 1060 BRUSSELS. The morning session starts at 9:30 a.m., the afternoon session at 1:00 p.m.
Attendance is free, but you are required to register.
